Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma California

Day 1. We just quit our jobs and left best friends and possibly the best city ever. We loved San Francisco. But we left. We left for something more. We left for an adventure to travel the world. First up, was a long 3 month road trip across the U.S. and Canada. We started by going north from San Francisco, and planned to take Highway 1 all the way to Canada.

We made stops along the way in California that are great places to check out on Highway 1:

• Sonoma Wine County – Truett Hurst for our favorite winery
